A couple of months ago, we got a message from our good friend, Heidi, that her sweet pup, Jack, was in the final stages of heart failure. We quickly scheduled an in-home session with them to make sure that we were able to capture all of the moments that we could of her and her family and Jack.
Heidi has a heart of gold, especially when it comes to dogs. Heidi has opened up her home to many dogs, not only her own dogs, but also fostering many dogs until they can be re-homed. She works closely with a great non-profit organization here in Fargo called 4LuvOfDog. This non-profit is devoted to rescuing and rehoming dogs. We highly recommend checking them out if you are ever looking to adopt a dog. All their information can be found at the following link:
With sessions of this nature, the focus really is on the pet. We let our clients know that it is more important to focus on their pet and less on us and the camera. We find that when this happens, we are able to capture the most authentic interactions between them and their fur baby. We strive to capture all of the little details from their wet shiny noses to their name tags.
We want to thank Heidi so much for allowing us to come and capture the beautiful bond that her and her family all share with Jack. We are so glad that we were able to preserve these moments in photograph form. These sessions are truly fulfilling to us. They allow us the opportunity to preserve memories in the present, but also memories that you can look back at forever - helping someone to remember all of the little details about their fur baby that holds such a beautiful place in your heart.
